The Friends
The orchestras are generously supported by a large number of sponsors and benefactors, but fundraising in general is co-ordinated and administrated by the Friends of the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra.
The friends make regular financial contributions to the annual Bryanston course and to the overseas tours which could not otherwise take place. By joining the Friends and attending the concerts you will help ensure continuing development of opportunity for talented young players in Hampshire.
Aside from fundraising, the Friends also help the conductors and the Hampshire Music Service co-ordinate concert and tour dates, and provide publicity material. They also provide supervision at rehearsals and on transport provided for the players.
All members of the Friends of the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra receive a copy of the friends newsletter 3 times a year. It includes news and information about the orchestra, its current activities and players past and present, as well as the Music Director's regular update. You can download the latest newsletter here.

FHCYO "Music Agency", a music agency for orchestra players to be hired for weddings and other private events. More details are on the pages belonging to the agency.
FHCYO Instrument Exchange, a website for buying and selling instruments with proceeds going to the Friends.
