Fundraising

Our membership is spread around the county with a heavy rehearsal and concert schedule, this makes joint fund raising events limited and often based around concerts.

How can you help raise funds?

  • Donate goods for raffle and tombola at Christmas and Easter (hand them in at the rehearsal cafe)

  • Donate goods and services for the Bryanston auction at Easter

  • Set yourself a sponsored challenge (more about this further down the page)

  • Take part in our Christmas busking activities

  • Find out if your employer supports local charities

Sponsored Activities

We have set up an online 'My Donate' donation page from which you can easily set your own challenge page and collect sponsorship securely online. Once your challenge is set up you can promote and monitor it using Google or Apple Apps.

Ben Fogle provides advice online on how best to promote your challenge using your own social media like Facebook.

You can find Help online if you get stuck setting up your challenge page.

A huge thanks to all those involved in the 12 hour music marathon (orchestra members and parents) - we raised just over £1000 - excellent result and well worth the sore heads the day after!  Carl Clausen

2013 - Christmas Busking raised over £750.  Thanks to all who participated at Basingstoke, Winchester, Hedge End and Gunwharf Quays.
